Statistics: E-sales of big, medium stores rise 11.2% on month in Oct

MOSCOW, Dec 3 (PRIME) -- Online sales of Russia’s large and medium-sized stores spiked by 140% on the year in October and by 11.2% on the month, the Federal State Statistics Service said late on Wednesday in a statement.

The share of e-commerce in total retail turnover of such stores increased to 5.9% in October from 2.8% in the same month of 2019. In September, the indicator was at 5.4%.

“DNS, Ozon, Wildberries, M.Video, and Citilink account for over 60% in the total volume of e-commerce,” the service said.

Retail turnover fell by 2.4% on the year in October, but increased by 2.1% on the month.
